Repeal the Gender Recognition Act 2015

Dear Sir/Madam,

We, the undersigned, are calling on the Government of Ireland to Repeal the Gender Recognition Act 2015.

We express our deep concern regarding the impact Gender Ideology is having on our Society. While we believe that open discussion, diversity of thought and freedom of expression are essential in Ireland, we believe that inadequate consideration was given to legislating on this Act, in 2015.

Our concerns arise from a belief that Gender Ideology does not align with scientific and biological principles and is disrupting the values and harmony we hold dear as a Nation. In summary, We believe that Men can not be Women and Women can not be Men.

When we voted for the Gender Recognitioin Act in 2015, we did not predict that the Act would be used by activists to propogate ideas and theories as if they were fact. We did not predict that we would be fearful of voicing our opinions about Gender Ideology in public. We did not predict that Criminals would change their gender to confuse our legal system. We did not predict that age inappropriate literature would be available to Children in our National Libraries. We did not predict that our compassion and openness to new ideas would later be used to demonise and quieten us if we spoke against the Ideology.

We have special concern for our Children, where the Ideology is being introduced into our Irish School system. We recognize the importance of protecting the unique cultural, historical, and ethical values that have defined Ireland for milennia.

Let us work together to safeguard the core principles that make Ireland a vibrant and harmonious society, while upholding our commitment to science, reason, respectful dialogue and most of all, common sense.
